Gynecomastia is a condition in which men have excess breast tissue. Removal of this tissue is often desired by men who suffer from this condition to restore a more masculine appearance of the chest. This can usually be achieved with a very small incision placed around the areola(nipple). Following surgery a compression vest is worn for several weeks in order to optimize results. After recovery from surgery, exercises which increase the size and strength of the pectoralis muscles is encouraged to fill out and give more definition to the chest.
